Saudāsa–Vasiṣṭha on the Purifying Power of Cows

यज्ञेषु गोप्रदानेषु द्योरपि समागमे । तस्य लोका: किलाक्षय्या दैवतै: सह नित्यदा

Transliteration

yajñeṣu gopradāneṣu dyor api samāgame | tasya lokāḥ kilākṣayyā daivataiḥ saha nityadā | (iti brahmā sa bhagavān uvāca parameśvaraḥ) |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「祭祀の場において、牛を施す時において、さらには二人が出会う折においてさえ、この教えを繰り返し誦し語り合う者は、滅びぬ世界を得て、常に神々とともに住する。かくのごとく、福徳具わる梵天、至上の主が宣言された。」
