न मित्रधुडनैकृतिक: कृतघ्नः शठो<नृजुर्धर्मविद्वेषकश्न । न ब्रह्महा मनसापि प्रपश्येद् गवां लोकं पुण्यकृतां निवासम्
na mitradhruḍ anaitṛtikaḥ kṛtaghnaḥ śaṭho 'nṛjur dharmavidveṣakaś ca | na brahmahā manasāpi prapaśyed gavāṁ lokaṁ puṇyakṛtāṁ nivāsam ||
ビーシュマは言った。友を裏切り、不正を行い、恩を忘れ、欺き、曲がりくねり、ダルマを憎む者――さらにはバラモン殺しでさえ――功徳を積んだ者の住処たる牛の世界（ゴーローカ）を、思いのうちにすら見ることはできない。
