Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | candramaṇḍalaśubhrāṇi kiḍukiṇījālavanti ca | anekaśatabhaumāni sāntarjalavanāni ca |

Translation

ビーシュマは語った。「ある（邸宅または空中宮殿）は月輪のように眩い白さで輝き、あるものは小さな鈴を連ねた房飾りの網で荘厳されていた。多くは幾百もの階と露台を備え、その内には美しい池と林苑があり—歓楽と豊穣を湛えた、ひとつの完結した世界であった。」
