दृष्टस्ते5हं प्रतिगच्छस्व तात शोचत्यसौ तव देहस्य कर्ता । ददानि कि चापि मन:प्रणीत॑ प्रियातिथेस्तव कामान् वृणीष्व
dṛṣṭas te 'haṃ pratigacchasva tāta śocaty asau tava dehasya kartā | dadāni kiṃ cāpi manaḥ-praṇītaṃ priyātithes tava kāmān vṛṇīṣva ||
ビーシュマは言った。「子よ、汝はすでに我を見た。今は帰るがよい。汝の父——この身を形づくった者——は嘆き悲しんでいる。汝は我が愛しき客人である。心に思い描く願いを選べ。望むものは何でも求めよ、我はそれを授けよう。」
