कार्य सततमिच्छटद्धि: श्रेय: सर्वात्मना गृहे । तथा55प: सर्वदा देया: पेयाश्वैव न संशय:
kāryaṃ satatam icchatā hi śreyaḥ sarvātmanā gṛhe | tathā āpaḥ sarvadā deyāḥ peyāś caiva na saṃśayaḥ ||
ヤマは言った。「真に益あるものを常に求める者は、全き志をもって自らの家において、胡麻の布施と正しい用い方（家内の功徳行）を絶えず修すべきである。同様に、水もまた常に施し、また常に飲用すべし——これに疑いはない。」
