Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
भीष्म उवाच उपानहीौ प्रयच्छेद् यो ब्राह्मणे भ्य: समाहित: । मर्दते कण्टकान् सर्वान् विषमान्निस्तरत्यपि
bhīṣma uvāca | upānahau prayacched yo brāhmaṇebhyaḥ samāhitaḥ | mardate kaṇṭakān sarvān viṣamān nistaraty api |
ビーシュマは言った。「ユディシュティラよ、心を一つに収めてバラモンたちに履物を施す者は、あらゆる『棘』（障碍）を踏み砕き、険しい苦難さえも渡り越える。その施主は敵の上に立ち、来世には、騾馬に繋がれた光り輝く壮麗な車を得る。」
