अर्ध पापस्य हरति पुरुषस्येह कर्मण: । कृप: प्रवृत्तपानीय: सुप्रवृत्तश्न नित्यश:
Transliteration
ardhaṁ pāpasya harati puruṣasyeha karmaṇaḥ | kṛpaḥ pravṛttapānīyaḥ supravṛttaś ca nityaśaḥ ||
Translation
ビーシュマは言った。「この世において、慈悲の心から掘られ、豊かに、しかも絶えず水を湧き出させて人々が日々用いる井戸は、その人の罪業の半ばを取り去るのである。」
