रथमश्वसमायुक्तं दत्त्वाश्विन्यां नरोत्तम: । हस्त्यश्वरथसम्पन्ने वर्चस्वी जायते कुले
ratham aśva-samāyuktaṃ dattvāśvinyāṃ narottamaḥ | hasty-aśva-ratha-sampanne varcasvī jāyate kule ||
ナーラダは言った。「月宿アシュヴィニー(Aśvinī)の時に、馬を繋いだ戦車を布施する優れた人は、象・馬・戦車に恵まれた家に再生し、そこで光り輝く名高き者となる。」
नारद उवाच
Charity performed with proper intention and at an auspicious time is praised as dharma and is said to yield tangible karmic results—prosperity, status, and personal radiance in a future birth.
Nārada is describing the specific merit (phala) of donating a horse-yoked chariot during the Aśvinī nakṣatra, stating that the donor attains rebirth in a well-equipped, prosperous lineage and becomes illustrious.
