कालशाकं तु विप्रे भ्यो दत्त्वा मर्त्य: समूलकम् | ज्येष्ठायामृद्धिमिष्टां वै गतिमिष्टां स गच्छति
kālaśākaṃ tu viprebhyo dattvā martyaḥ samūlakam | jyeṣṭhāyām ṛddhim iṣṭāṃ vai gatim iṣṭāṃ sa gacchati ||
ナーラダは言った。「ジェーシュター（Jyeṣṭhā）の月宿の時に、季節にかなう葉菜（カーラシャーカ）を根ごとブラーフマナに施す者は、望む繁栄を得、また求める吉祥の行き先にも至る。」
