गूढस्वाध्यायतपसो ब्राह्म॒णान्‌ संशितव्रतान्‌ । कृतैरावसशथैह्द्यै: सप्रेष्यै: सपरिच्छदै:

Transliteration

gūḍhasvādhyāyatapaso brāhmaṇān saṃśitavratān | kṛtair āvasathaiḥ hṛdyaiḥ sapreṣyaiḥ saparicchadaiḥ ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「（敬うべきは）内に秘めた自習（スヴァーディヤーヤ）と苦行に励み、誓戒に堅固なバラモンたちである。よく造られ心地よい住まいを与え、侍者と必要な調度を添えて供養せよ。」
