तस्य पुत्रा भवन्त्येते पादपा नात्र संशय: । परलोकगत: स्वर्ग लोकांश्चाप्रोति सोडव्ययान्‌

Transliteration

tasya putrā bhavanty ete pādapā nātra saṁśayaḥ | paralokagataḥ svarga-lokāṁś cāpnōti so 'vyayān |

Translation

木を植えた者にとって、これらの樹はまさしく子のごときものとなる—疑いはない。その功徳に支えられ、彼が来世へ赴くとき、天界と不滅の世界を得る。
