atha sūryo ’tīcakrāma teṣāṃ saṃvadatāṃ tathā | atharṣiḥ śīghram ājñāpayāmāsa pānam annaṃ tathaiva ca ||
そのように語り合っているうちに日が沈んだ。すると大聖仙はただちに王に命じ、飲み水と食事とを持って来させた。厳粛な談義の最中であっても、客をもてなす務めと身を養うことを怠らぬためである。
