युधिछिर उवाच षडपध्वंसजा: के स्यु: के वाप्पपसदास्तथा । एतत् सर्व यथातत्त्वं व्याख्यातुं मे त्वमरहसि
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | ṣaḍ-apadhvaṃsajāḥ ke syuḥ ke vā apapasadās tathā | etat sarvaṃ yathātattvaṃ vyākhyātuṃ me tvam arhasi ||
ユディシュティラは問うた。「祖父上、六種の『アパドゥヴァンシャジャ』（apadhvaṃsaja）とはいかなる子らですか。また同様に『アパパサダ』（apapasada）と呼ばれるのは誰ですか。どうかこのすべてを、真実に即してありのままにお説きください。あなたこそそれを為し得るお方です。」
