एवमेव मनुष्येन्द्र भक्तिमन्तं समाश्रित: । सर्वार्थसिद्धि लभते शुकं प्राप्य यथा द्रुम:,नरेन्द्र! जैसे भक्तिमान्ू शुकका सहवास पाकर उस वृक्षने सम्पूर्ण मनोरथोंकी सिद्धि प्राप्त कर ली, उसी प्रकार अपनेमें भक्ति रखनेवाले पुरुषका सहारा पाकर प्रत्येक मनुष्य अपनी सम्पूर्ण कामनाएँ सिद्ध कर लेता है
evam eva manuṣyendra bhaktimantaṁ samāśritaḥ | sarvārthasiddhiṁ labhate śukaṁ prāpya yathā drumaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「同じく、人の中の最勝者よ。真に信愛（バクティ）を具えた者に帰依する者は、あらゆる目的の成就を得る――シュカという鸚鵡の伴いを得た一本の樹が、望むところをことごとく成し遂げたように。かくして、信愛ある人に依り頼めば、人は自らの願いを成功へと導き得るのだ。」
