Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46

तेनैव हि भवेयुस्ते लोका: पापकृतो यथा । कृत्वा नाचक्षत: कर्म मम यच्च त्वया कृतम्‌,पापकर्म करके न बतानेवाले पुरुषको, जैसा कि तुमने मेरे साथ किया है, वे ही पापाचारियोंके लोक प्राप्त होते हैं

tenaiva hi bhaveyus te lokāḥ pāpakṛto yathā | kṛtvā nācakṣataḥ karma mama yac ca tvayā kṛtam |

まさにその行いによって、汝は罪人に定められたのと同じ界に至るであろう――過ちを犯しながら、それを明かさぬ者の行き着くところへ。これが、汝が私にしたことの報いだ。罪を告白せず、隠したままにしたのである。
