भीष्म उवाच
Dharma is expressed through humble service and proper reverence to one’s teacher: offering what one has (here, flowers) and honouring the guru according to prescribed conduct (vidhivat) cultivates discipline, gratitude, and ethical character.
A devoted person travels to the city of Campā, presents flowers to his teacher, and performs formal worship of the guru in the correct manner, showing his devotion and the teacher-student ideal.
