Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
“विपुल गुरुपत्नीके शरीरको स्तम्भित करके उसकी रक्षामें संलग्न हो वहीं निवास करने लगे। परंतु रुचिको अपने शरीरमें उनके आनेका पता न चला ।।
yaṃ kālaṃ nāgato rājan gurus tasya mahātmanaḥ | kratuṃ samāpya svagṛhaṃ taṃ kālaṃ so ’bhyarakṣata ||
ビーシュマは言った。「王よ、ヴィプラの高徳なる師が供犠の儀を終えて自邸へ戻るまでのあいだ、ヴィプラはその間ずっと同じように、そこに留まって師の妻を守るために怠りなく見張り続けた。」
