पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
नच प्रेत्य विनश्यन्ति गच्छन्ति च परां गतिम् इसी प्रकार वे यजमान भी प्रसन्न होते हैं जिनकी दी हुई हवि ब्राह्मणोंके उपयोगमें आती है। वे मरनेके बाद नष्ट नहीं होते हैं, उत्तम गतिको प्राप्त हो जाते हैं
na ca pretya vinaśyanti gacchanti ca parāṃ gatim
ビーシュマは言った。「同じく、捧げた供物がブラーフマナの用に供される祭主（ヤジャマーナ）もまた、心の内に満ち足りる。彼らは死後に滅びることなく、最上の行き先へと至るのである。」
