पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
महारथश्न राजन्य एष्टव्य: शत्रुतापन: । इति मां नारद: प्राह सततं सर्वभूतये
mahārathaś ca rājan ya eṣṭavyaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | iti māṃ nāradaḥ prāha satataṃ sarvabhūtaye ||
ヴァーユは言った。「王よ、敵を灼き伏せる大車戦士たるクシャトリヤ（マハーラタ）の誕生を祈るべきである。これは一切衆生の福利と繁栄のための教えとして、ナーラダが私に繰り返し語ったことだ。」
