पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
यद् ब्राह्मणमुखात् प्राप्तं प्रतिगृह्लन्ति वै वच: । भूतात्मानो महात्मानस्ते न यान्ति पराभवम्
yad brāhmaṇamukhāt prāptaṁ pratigṛhlanti vai vacaḥ | bhūtātmāno mahātmānas te na yānti parābhavam ||
ビーシュマは言った。万有と内なる自己とを調和させた大心の人々は、ブラーフマナの口から出る教誡を権威ある言葉として受け入れる。そのような人々は敗北にも破滅にも陥らない—衝動や驕りではなく、ダルマに根ざした導きを選ぶからである。
