Śakra–Śambara Saṃvāda: Brāhmaṇa-sevā, Anasūyā, and Vāg-bala (शक्रशम्बरसंवादः)

निन्दाप्रशंसाकुशला: कीर्त्यकीर्तिपरायणा: । परिकुप्यन्ति ते राजन्‌ सतत द्विषतां द्विजा:

nindāpraśaṃsākuśalāḥ kīrtyakīrtiparāyaṇāḥ | parikupyanti te rājan satataṃ dviṣatāṃ dvijāḥ ||

ビーシュマは言った。「王よ、非難と称賛を言い分けることに長け、人々の名声や悪名を増幅させようとするバラモンたちは、自分たちに絶えず怨みを抱く者に対して、たちまち心を煽られ—常に怒りを燃やすのだ。」
