मातङ्ग–शक्रसंवादः
Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
यथा सुराणाममृतं पितृणां च यथा स्वधा । सुधा यथा च नागानां तथा गड्भाजलं नृणाम्
yathā surāṇām amṛtaṃ pitṝṇāṃ ca yathā svadhā | sudhā yathā ca nāgānāṃ tathā gaṅgā-jalaṃ nṛṇām ||
甘露が神々を満たし、svadhāの供物が祖霊を満たし、sudhāがナーガを満たすように、人間にとってはガンガー（Gaṅgā）の水こそが、ただそれのみが、完全な満足をもたらす。ゆえにシッダは、ガンガー水を、人の宗教的生活を支える比類なき浄化と充足の拠り所として讃え、諸存在のそれぞれに相応しい糧と並び置くのである。
