Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
भीष्म उवाच इति परममतिर्गुणानशेषान् शिलरतसये त्रिपथानुयोगरूपान् । बहुविधमनुशास्य तथ्यरूपान् गगनततलं द्युतिमान् विवेश सिद्ध:
bhīṣma uvāca—iti paramamatir guṇān aśeṣān śīlaratasya tripathānuyogarūpān | bahuvidham anuśāsya tathyārūpān gaganatalaṃ dyutimān viveśa siddhaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「かくして、至高の知慧と赫々たる光輝を具えた成就者（シッダ）は、シーラヴリッティ（落ち穂拾いによって生計を立てる苦行）により暮らす徳あるバラモンをさまざまに教誨し、三つの道を流れるガンガー（トリパタガー）の真実にして多様なる功徳を余すところなく説き尽くすと、広大なる天空へと入り去った。」
