मरुद्गण उपस्पृश्य पितृणामाश्रमे शुचि:
Transliteration
marudgaṇa upaspṛśya pitṝṇām āśrame śuciḥ
Translation
水に触れて浄めの作法を行ったのち、彼は清浄を保ったまま、祖霊たるピトリ（Pitṛs、祖先の父たち）の庵へと、聖別された身で進んだ。これは祖先の秩序への敬意を示し、聖なる営みに先立つ儀礼的清浄の必然を告げる。
