Gaṅgā-māhātmya: Siddha–Śilavṛtti-saṃvāda and Gaṅgā-stava (गङ्गामाहात्म्यं—सिद्ध-शिलवृत्ति-संवादः)
यः प्रवृत्तां श्रुतिं सम्यक् शास्त्र वा मुनिभि: कृतम् । दूषयत्यनभिज्ञाय त॑ विद्याद् ब्रह्मघातिनम्
yaḥ pravṛttāṃ śrutiṃ samyak śāstraṃ vā munibhiḥ kṛtam | dūṣayaty anabhijñāya taṃ vidyād brahmaghātinam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「真の理解もなく、正しい行いを定める権威あるシュルティ（ヴェーダの啓示）や、聖仙たちの著したシャーストラを貶める者を、梵（ブラフマン）を殺す者と見なせ。ダルマの礎を揺るがす重い霊的罪だからである。」
