तीर्थवंशोपदेशः
Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
हृतस्वा ह्तदाराश्ष ये विप्रा देशसम्प्लवे । अर्थार्थमभिगच्छन्ति तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम्
hṛtasvā hṛtadārāś ca ye viprā deśasamplave | arthārtham abhigacchanti tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||
ビーシュマは言った。国土が災厄と乱れに沈むとき、財を奪われ妻をも奪われたバラモンたちが、生計のために施しを求めて来ることがある。かかる苦難の請願者に与える布施は、きわめて大いなる霊的果報をもたらす。社会が崩れる時に無辜を支え、慈悲の救済によってダルマを護るからである。
