Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
अर्थनान्येन यो लिप्सेत् कर्मार्थ चैव भारत । आमन्त्रयति राजेन्द्र तस्याधर्मोडनृतं स्मृतम्
arthān anyena yo lipsed karmārthaṁ caiva bhārata | āmantrayati rājendra tasyādharmo 'nṛtaṁ smṛtam, bharatanandana ||
ビーシュマは言った。「バーラタの子よ、王の中の王よ、別の目的を口実にして財を求める者、あるいは『この祭式を行うために金を与えよ』と言って施主の心を自分へ向けさせる者については、それは不法であり虚偽であると伝えられている。その罪は『牛にかけて偽りの誓いを立てる』に等しい。」
