Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
नान्यत्र ब्राह्मणोश्रीयात् पूर्व विप्रेण केतित: । यवीयान् पशुहिंसायां तुल्यधर्मो भवेत् स हि
nānyatra brāhmaṇośrīyāt pūrvaṁ vipreṇa ketitaḥ | yavīyān paśuhiṁsāyāṁ tulyadharmo bhavet sa hi ||
ビーシュマは言った。「もし一人のバラモンが、すでに別のバラモンからシュラーダ（śrāddha）のために前もって招かれているなら、その招かれたバラモンは他所へ行って食事をしてはならない。もしそれを行えば、彼は身分の品位を損なった者と見なされ、負う過失は動物を屠る罪に比すべき重さとして扱われる。」
