Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
क्रियमाणे5पवर्गे च यो द्विजो भरतर्षभ । न व्याहरति यद्युक्त तस्याधर्मो गवानृतम्
kriyamāṇe ’pavarge ca yo dvijo bharatarṣabha | na vyāharati yadyuktaṃ tasyādharmo gavānṛtam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おお、バーラタ族の雄牛よ。解脱（アパヴァルガ）を得るための功徳ある聖なる儀礼が行われているとき、二度生まれ（ドヴィジャ）の者が、しかるべき定められた言葉を口にしないなら、その不作法は彼にとってアダルマとなる——牛について偽りを語るのに等しいほど重い不真実である。」
