Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atha sā strī tam uvāca bāḍham evaṁ bhavatv iti | tailaṁ divyam upādāya snānaśāṭīm upānayat |

Translation

ビーシュマは語った。するとその女は彼に言った。「よろしい、あなたの言うとおりにいたしましょう。」そう言って、神妙なる油を取り、沐浴のための布を携えて来た。この段は対話の倫理的な調べをさらに進め、即座の承諾、歓待、そして浄めの行いに向けた周到な備えを示す――外なる清浄は、内なる規律とダルマを支えるのである。
