सर्व तुदति तत्पापं भावयज्छिवमात्मना । “समस्त लक्षणोंसे हीन अथवा सब पापोंसे युक्त मनुष्य भी यदि अपने हृदयसे भगवान् शिवका ध्यान करता है तो वह अपने सारे पापोंको नष्ट कर देता है
sarvaṁ tudati tat pāpaṁ bhāvayac chivam ātmanā
ヴァーユは言った。「人をあらゆる形で苦しめる罪は、内なる全存在をもって主シヴァを観想するとき滅び去る。吉祥の徴をことごとく欠く者であれ、多くの罪を負う者であれ、心よりシヴァを念じて禅定すれば、積もり積もった罪業を焼き尽くすのである。」
