Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
ततः प्रणम्य शिरसा इदं वचनमन्रुवम् । यदि प्रीतो महादेवो भक्त्या परमया प्रभु:
tataḥ praṇamya śirasā idaṁ vacanam abruvam | yadi prīto mahādevo bhaktyā paramayā prabhuḥ ||
そこで私は頭を垂れて礼拝し、こう申し上げた。「もし主マハーデーヴァが、私の至上の帰依によってお喜びくださるなら、ああイーシャーナよ、あなたへの揺るぎない信愛が、日々絶えることなく常に保たれますように。」主シヴァは「そのとおりに」と言われ、まさにその場で姿を消された。
