(Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti
utpannā ca bhave bhaktir ananyā sarvabhāvataḥ | bhāvinaḥ kāraṇe cāsya sarvayuktasya sarvathā ||
The verse teaches that the highest form of devotion is ananyā-bhakti—undivided, exclusive dedication—offered with one’s entire being to Śiva, understood here as the causal ground of the world. Spiritual maturity and complete inner preparedness culminate in such single-pointed devotion.
Vāyudeva is speaking and describing the spiritual result for a fully accomplished person: when one becomes ‘sarvayukta’ (endowed with all requisite qualities/means), wholehearted and exclusive devotion naturally arises toward Lord Śiva, identified as the world’s cause.
