सिद्धा ब्रद्मर्षयश्चैव साधु साथ्विति हर्षिता: । उस समय देवताओंकी दुन्दुभियाँ बज उठीं और साथ ही दिव्य पुष्पोंकी वर्षा होने लगी। सिद्धों तथा ब्रह्मर्षियोंको बड़ा हर्ष हुआ। वे भीष्मजीको साधुवाद देने लगे
siddhā brahmarṣayaś caiva sādhu sādhv iti harṣitāḥ | tadā devatānāṃ dundubhayo vāditāḥ saha divyapuṣpavṛṣṭiś ca pravavṛte | siddhānāṃ ca brahmarṣīṇāṃ ca mahān harṣaḥ samajāyata | te’pi bhīṣmaṃ sādhuvādena praśaśaṃsu |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「『よくぞ！ よくぞ！』と、シッダたちとブラフマ仙たちは歓喜して叫んだ。そのとき神々のドゥンドゥビの太鼓が鳴り響き、天の花の雨が降りそそいだ。シッダと大聖仙たちは喜びに満ち、ビーシュマを称えて賛嘆の言葉を捧げた。」
