होमकाले यथा वदह्नलि: कालमेव प्रतीक्षते । ऋतुकाले तथा नारी ऋतुमेव प्रतीक्षते,जैसे होमकालमें अग्निदेव होमकी ही प्रतीक्षा करते हैं, उसी प्रकार ऋतुकालमें स्त्री ऋतुकी ही प्रतीक्षा करती है
homakāle yathā vahniḥ kālam eva pratīkṣate | ṛtukāle tathā nārī ṛtum eva pratīkṣate ||
ビーシュマは言った。「火供（ホーマ）の定められた時に、聖なる火がただその正しい刻を待つように、女もまた己の季（とき）においては、ただ己の季を待つのみである。」この言葉は、欲望と結合を「正しい時」と「正しい秩序」の規律のうちに置き、自制と端正をダルマの一部として示す。
