इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि महेश्वरमाहात्म्यं नाम एकषष्ट्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi maheśvaramāhātmyaṃ nāma ekaṣaṣṭyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の『アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ』、とりわけ布施の法（dāna-dharma）を説く部において、「マヘーシュヴァラ（Maheśvara）の偉大さ」と題する章は終結する。これが第百六十一章である。この奥書は教説を正式に閉じ、先の論述を、ダーナ（寛施）とシヴァ（マヘーシュヴァラ）への信愛という倫理的伝統のうちに位置づける。
