The verse teaches the all-pervading nature of the Supreme: cosmic structures like stars, celestial stations, and the very directions are not separate from Him; they are expressions of the one divine reality. Ethically, it supports reverence, humility, and seeing sacred order in the world.
Vāyu is speaking in praise and theological description, identifying the Lord as the cosmic totality—encompassing celestial markers (nakṣatras), spatial orientation (directions), and all-pervading radiance—thereby reinforcing a devotional and metaphysical point within the Anuśāsana Parva’s instruction-oriented discourse.
