अकस्माच्च प्रहसति तथाकस्मात् प्ररोदिति । न चास्य वयसा तुल्य: पृथिव्यामभवत् तदा,वे अकस्मात् जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगते और अचानक फूट-फूटकर रो पड़ते थे। उस समय इस पृथ्वीपर उनका समवयस्क कोई नहीं था
akasmācca prahasati tathākasmāt praroditi | na cāsya vayasā tulyaḥ pṛthivyām abhavat tadā ||
風神ヴァーユは語った。「何の理由も見えぬまま、彼は忽ち高らかに笑い、また忽ち嗚咽して泣いた。その頃、この地上には、同じ年頃で彼に比肩し得る者は一人もいなかった。」
