वायुदेव उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन् द्विजानां भरतर्षभ | यथा तत्त्वेन वदतो गुणान् वै कुरुसत्तम
Transliteration
vāyudeva uvāca | śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan dvijānāṃ bharatarṣabha | yathā tattvena vadato guṇān vai kurusattama ||
Translation
風神は言った。「王よ、バーラタ族の雄牛よ、心を澄まして聞きなさい。クル族の最勝者よ、私は真実に即して、二度生まれし者（ブラーフマナ）の徳を語ろう。」
