कृष्ण: पृथ्वीमसृजत् खं दिवं च कृष्णस्य देहान्मेदिनी सम्बभूव । वराहो5यं भीमबल: पुराण: स पर्वतान् व्यसृजद् वै दिशश्चल॒
kṛṣṇaḥ pṛthvīm asṛjat khaṃ divaṃ ca kṛṣṇasya dehān medinī sambabhūva | varāho 'yaṃ bhīmabalaḥ purāṇaḥ sa parvatān vyasṛjad vai diśaś ca ||
ビーシュマは言った。「クリシュナは大地と虚空と天界とを生み出した。クリシュナご自身の御身より、万有を支える大地が顕現した。彼こそ恐るべき力を具える太初の存在であり、ヴァラーハ（猪）の姿として現れ、山々を生み、また方位を定めたのである。」
