अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
अपुनर्भवकामानां वैराग्ये वर्ततां च या । प्रकृतीनां लयानां च सा गतिस्त्वं सनातन
apunarbhavakāmānāṁ vairāgye vartatāṁ ca yā | prakṛtīnāṁ layānāṁ ca sā gatis tvaṁ sanātana, sanātana parameśvara ||
ヴァーユは言った。「おお永遠なる者――永遠の至上主よ――再生を離れんと願い、離欲の道を歩む者が得る究竟の到達処は、汝自身である。さらに、原初の自然(プラクリティ)へと融け帰る者の帰趨もまた汝である。解脱と融解のいかなる相においても、到るのは汝にほかならぬ。」
वायुदेव उवाच
All ultimate spiritual outcomes—whether described as liberation from rebirth through dispassion or as dissolution into primordial Nature—culminate in the Supreme Lord as the final refuge and goal.
Vāyudeva addresses the Supreme Lord in praise, identifying Him as the destination of seekers of mokṣa and as the end-point even of cosmic or metaphysical dissolution, thereby affirming the Lord’s supremacy over all paths and states.
