अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
नूनमद्य कृतार्था: सम नून॑ प्राप्ता: सतां गतिम् । यां गतिं प्रार्थयन्तीह ज्ञाननिर्मलबुद्धयः
nūnam adya kṛtārthāḥ sma nūnaṁ prāptāḥ satāṁ gatim | yāṁ gatiṁ prārthayantīha jñāna-nirmala-buddhayaḥ ||
風神ヴァーユは言った。「まことに今日、我らは目的を果たした。確かに、徳ある者たちが到るその境地に我らは達した。真の知によって理解を清めた賢者たちが、この世にあって希求するその帰趣を、我らはまさしく得たのである。ゆえに今日、我らは真に成就した。」
