याधातथ्येन सिद्धस्य इतिहासं पुरातनम्‌ | पराशरमतं दिव्यं शकाय कथितं पुरा

Transliteration

yādhātathyena siddhasya itihāsaṃ purātanam | parāśaramataṃ divyaṃ śakāya kathitaṃ purā ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「これは真実にかなった古の聖なる物語であり、成就した聖仙ヴェーダヴィヤーサが如実に説き示したものである。そこにはパラーシャラの神聖なる教説が述べられ、遠い昔にはインドラにも授けられた。」
