एतदत्यदभुतं वृत्तं पुण्ये हि भवति प्रभो । वासुदेवस्य कौन्तेय स्थाणोश्वैव स्वभावजम्
etad atyadbhutaṃ vṛttaṃ puṇye hi bhavati prabho | vāsudevasya kaunteya sthāṇoś caiva svabhāvajam, prabho ||
ビーシュマは言った。「主君よ、クンティーの子よ、これはまことに驚嘆すべき物語である。太古、聖なる地において起こり、ヴァースデーヴァ(シュリー・クリシュナ)とスターヌ(マハーデーヴァ)の、生来の自然なる偉大さを語るものだ。」
