Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
श्वश्रूश्वशुरयो: पादौ जोषयन्ती गुणान्विता । मातापितृपरा नित्यं या नारी सा तपोधना
śvaśrūśvaśurayoḥ pādau joṣayantī guṇānvitā | mātāpitr̥parā nityaṁ yā nārī sā tapodhanā ||
マハーデーヴァは言った。善き徳を備え、姑と舅の足もとに常に仕えて敬い、また自らの父母にも絶えず孝養を尽くす女—その女はタパス（苦行・精進）の富に満ちる者と見なされる。
