Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
दरिद्रं व्याधितं दीनमध्वना परिकर्शितम् | पतिं पुत्रमिवोषपास्ते सा नारी धर्मभागिनी
daridraṁ vyādhitaṁ dīnam adhvanā parikarśitam | patiṁ putram ivoṣapāste sā nārī dharmabhāginī ||
マヘーシュヴァラは言った。たとえ夫が貧しく、病み、みじめで、旅の苦労にすり減っていようとも、わが子を仕えるように夫に仕える女は、まことにダルマの分け前を得る者—揺るがぬ看護と忠実な奉仕によって義に参与する者—である。
