कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः

Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time

अकषायकृतश्रैव मार्ग: सेव्य: सदा बुध: । यह देवताओंका बनाया हुआ मार्ग है। राग और द्वेषको दूर करनेके लिये इस मार्गकी प्रवृति हुई है। अतः साधारण मनुष्यों तथा विद्वान्‌ पुरुषोंको भी सदा ही इसका सेवन करना चाहिये

akaṣāyakṛtaś caiva mārgaḥ sevyaḥ sadā budhaiḥ | yaḥ devatābhiḥ kṛto mārgaḥ | rāga-dveṣa-nivṛttyarthaṃ tasya mārga-pravṛttir abhavat | ataḥ sāmānyaiḥ manuṣyaiḥ vidvadbhiś ca sadā eva asya sevanam kartavyam |

「この道は、垢を離れるために整えられた道であり、賢者はつねにこれに従うべきである。これは神々によって立てられた道である。貪(らが)と瞋(いかり)を除くためにこの道は世に行われた。ゆえに、凡夫も学ある者も、常にこれを修め、堅く守るべきである。」
