मत्तो5प्यष्टौ वरानिष्टान् गृहाण त्वं ददामि ते । प्रणम्य शिरसा सा च मयोक्ता पाण्डुनन्दन
matto 'py aṣṭau varān iṣṭān gṛhāṇa tvaṃ dadāmi te | praṇamya śirasā sā ca mayoktā pāṇḍunandana |
「わたしからも、望む八つの恩寵を求めよ。そなたに授けよう。」彼女はそう告げた。そこで、パーンドゥの子よ、わたしは宇宙の母の御足もとに頭を垂れて礼拝し、彼女に申し上げた――（そして願いを述べ始めた）。
