धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

विघसाशिना सदा भाव्यं सत्पथालम्बिना तथा | बाद्दां हि मार्गमाक्रम्य वर्तितव्यं बुभूषता

vighasāśinā sadā bhāvyaṃ satpathālambinā tathā | bāddhāṃ hi mārgam ākramya vartitavyaṃ bubhūṣatā ||

マハーデーヴァは言った。「自らの安寧を求める者は、常に vighasāśin として生きるべきである—客人と扶養すべき者たちに先に食を施し、その後にのみ自ら食すべし—また善人の道に依るべきである。ヴェーダにより定められた道に足を踏み入れたなら、規律を守り、高雅にして節度ある振る舞いをなさねばならぬ。」
