तस्य धर्मक्रिया देवि ब्रह्म॒चर्या च न्‍न्यायतः । व्रतोपनयनं चैव द्विजो येनोपपद्यते

女神よ。彼は自らのダルマの作法を行い、正しい規範に従って梵行(ブラフマチャリヤ)を守るべきである。さらに、誓戒(ヴラタ)を保ってウパナヤナ(入門の儀)を受けることが不可欠である。なぜなら、その儀によってこそ彼は「ドヴィジャ」—二度生まれし者—となるからである。
